About Us

The Computer and Electrical Engineering Club is a club at Birzeit University responsible for addressing students’ academic needs and providing the necessary resources and materials. The club oversees various activities, including welcoming new students and hosting numerous competitions. Its main headquarters is located in the Workshops and Engineering Building, and it operates on the second floor of the Masri (IT) College, which houses the Computer and Electrical Engineering Department.

Clubs mission

The Computer and Electrical Engineering Club at Birzeit University aims to contribute to the development of students’ abilities and refine their academic and professional skills through scientific and practical activities that complement the academic curriculum and keep pace with the rapid advancements in the fields of electrical and computer engineering. The club works to create an interactive environment that fosters creativity and innovation, encourages collaboration and teamwork among students, and strengthens leadership qualities and social responsibility. Additionally, the club seeks to build effective bridges of communication between students, the academic staff, and the job market by organizing workshops, specialized lectures, and practical projects—all contributing to preparing a generation of qualified engineers capable of continuous learning, actively serving the community, and advancing the field of engineering in Palestine.

Eng. Abdelhameed Mar’i
Abdel Hameed Mar’i is the President of the Computer and Electrical Engineering Club for the 2025/2026 term and was a member in the previous term. He is passionate about technology and innovation and strives to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience through participation in various projects and activities. He believes that teamwork is the foundation of achievement and is keen on encouraging collaboration and creativity among students. His goal is to continuously develop his skills, contribute to building a more engaged and supportive university community, and leave a distinctive mark during his tenure as club president. Seraj Raddad, a Computer Engineering student at Birzeit University. I designed this website from scratch, focusing on user experience, ease of navigation, and aesthetic appeal. In addition to the design, I oversaw the entire implementation process, including content selection, development phases, and quality assurance at every level.
